JOGGERS/DAYS OF BEING WILD/BED OF ROSES

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I'M REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW
JOGGERS
ALBUM. I DON'T KNOW WHEN ITS COMING OUT, THEY'RE RECORDING IT THIS SUMMER. BUT ITS GOING TO GO DOWN IN HISTORY (IN A GOOD WAY).

AND ALSO THERES THIS NEW AUSTIN BAND THAT JUST FORMED AND THEYRE RECORDING SOME PRETTY AMAZING STUFF RIGHT NOW. ITS STILL IN THE EARLY STAGES, I GOT TO HEAR SOME ROUGH MIXES.

THEY NEED A BAND NAME, SO IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS LEAVE A COMMENT AND I'LL PASS IT ON.

MARTIN CRANE/BRAZOS'S "BED OF ROSES" IS WHAT I'M LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW.

I WANT TO GET THE NEW SLEEP GOOD.

THIS WAS THE 37TH IMAGE THAT CAME UP WHEN I LARGE IMAGE SEARCHED TOM WAITS GLITTER DOOM

WEIRD SHOW.

SET LIST

THE MOST OBNOXIOUS CROWD I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED AT A SHOW (HONESTLY!!), BAD VENUE, HE HAD THE A.C. TURNED OFF (WHICH, KNOWING THAT NOW I THINK ITS REALLY "COOL" BUT AT THE TIME I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST BROKEN AND WAS REALLY ANNOYED, IT NEEDED TO BE ABOUT 20 DB'S LOUDER/IT FELT LIKE WATERED-DOWN TOM WAITS-LITE, I WOULD HAVE PREFERED A DIRTIER/ROWDIER BAND.

OTHER THAN THAT A GREAT SHOW.

BUY MOVIE MONSTER FOR ONE CENT

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

"we went through such hell trying to get the record company to lower the price of our records... still $18.99 in most places. and now one cent on ebay. beyond surreal.

i wonder how all these big companies will shake down over the next few years."

from the home page of our website:

Frankenbike #34 - Saturday Noon-4pm June 14th at the 51st Street Shop - We are hosting a Frankenbike at our 51st street shop in it's final weeks of operation. We are trying to make as many bikes rideable as possible to sell at the austin-notorious roaming bicycle parts swap meet. Funds generated for YBP bike and parts sales will help with construction costs for our new headquarters facility. Stop by any scheduled shop night to volunteer and help build up bikes for the sale.

And from the Bikes page of the website:

Ready to Ride Bikes - If you don't have time to volunteer or build your own bike, we have a limited supply of ready-to-ride bikes available at both of our shop locations. YBP volunteers have fixed up these bikes and prepared them for you to ride away. We ask for cash donations in exchange for ready-to-ride bikes. Proceeds are used to support our project and maintain our shop

We'll have bikes available for very reasonable donation amounts, some even in the $10-$20 range at the sale on the 14th. After that, we won't have many bikes available till we get our new shop headquarters built, so don't miss the big sale -
